What styles of dresses do you offer?

Our collection is divided into two categories: bohemian dresses and chic, glamorous dresses. We offer modern dresses that are fully customizable and made from high-quality fabrics.

When will your new collections be released?

We release several new models each year, usually around June.

Are the available templates customizable?

Yes, our wedding dresses are fully customizable. So you can choose to change the lace, add sleeves, remove the slit… and much more! The idea is to create a dress that reflects your personal style. 

What materials are the dresses made of?

We primarily work with embroidered tulle. For skirts, we use crepe (matte, satin, heavy, or flowing) as well as muslin. Most of our dresses are lined with cotton, a comfortable and breathable fabric.

Fittings for custom-made wedding dresses

When should you start trying on clothes?

Ideally, you should start trying on wedding dresses at least 12 months before the wedding.

To do so, you can schedule an appointment with one of our ambassadors directly through our online calendar.

We recommend that you order your wedding dress 8 to 12 months before your wedding to secure your spot in our order book.

For brides in a hurry, we can expedite production:

• 6 months before the wedding: +€100

• 4 months before the wedding (minimum notice period): +€150.

Do we need to make an appointment?

Yes. You can book an appointment directly on the madameaditoui.fr website from our ambassadors' pages. Select the ambassador of your choice and book an appointment directly from her calendar.

Our brand ambassadors will welcome you to their homes or studios. If possible, please schedule your appointment on a weekday, as Saturdays are in high demand.

What does a fitting actually involve?

A fitting takes an hour.

Ambassador Mado welcomes you to her home or studio to treat you to an unforgettable experience. After chatting over coffee, she’ll show you the collection, and together you’ll select several pieces.

Her role is to advise you, guide you based on your body type, and explain what is possible.

If you're running late, please let your ambassador know: appointments are scheduled back-to-back and cannot be rescheduled.

What should I bring to the fitting?

We recommend:

• To wear minimal makeup (no foundation or lipstick) but have your hair styled nicely.

• Please bring a pair of nude-colored panties if possible and a backless bra

• Bring the shoes you want to wear or the heel height you prefer.

Can I bring someone with me, and is it okay to take photos during the fitting?

You’re welcome to bring up to three guests along, so you can feel comfortable during the fitting. And yes, you’re welcome to take photos!

Do you carry dresses in all sizes?

Our dresses are 100% custom-made and designed for all women!

For the brand ambassadors, the sizes of the display models range from 34 to 48, depending on the retail location.

Please feel free to specify your size when making an appointment.

How do I order my custom-made wedding dress?

After your first or second fitting, you can place your order directly with your ambassador.

If you're short on time or need more time to think it over, she can send you an order link directly via email.

How long will it take to make my wedding dress?

Production time ranges from 4 to 6 months.

To allow for any necessary adjustments and to account for the busy season, we recommend placing your order 8 to 12 months before the wedding.

Where will I receive my dress?

You will receive your wedding dress directly at your home, on average two months before your wedding date.

You can also choose a different address for your convenience.

We're just as excited as you are!

Is it possible to make alterations to the garment?

Custom-made purchases may require alterations. We recommend that you try it on within 7 days of receiving it.

If any alterations are needed, please email us some photos and we’ll refer you to a partner seamstress near you.

We cover up to 10% of the dress’s price for alterations. Any travel expenses are your responsibility.

What are your latest recommendations?

The day before or on the morning of the wedding, be sure to cut the internal hangers. We recommend using a steam iron to remove any wrinkles.

All you have to do is say yes!

How should I care for my wedding dress after the big day?

We recommend having your wedding dress professionally cleaned.

What ready-to-wear items do you offer?

We offer a variety of items: skirts (short or long), blouses, capes, pants, and bras.

How do I choose my size?

For outlet dresses, a size guide is available at the top of this category page.

At Madame a dit oui, we divide your waist measurement by two to determine your size.

For ready-to-wear clothing, choose your usual size.

Is it possible to make alterations to standard sizes?

You can visit a seamstress for alterations to standard-size garments. You are responsible for the cost of these alterations.

Can items be returned?

Yes, you have 14 days from the date of receipt to return your item to the following address:

Items must be in their original condition and returned in their original packaging. 

You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

The refund will be issued upon receipt of the package.

Is it possible to make an exchange?

No, we do not offer exchanges. If you’d like a different size, you can return the item and place a new order after receiving your refund.

Do you ship internationally?

Of course, we ship worldwide.

What is the Outlet category?

The outlet section features styles from past collections or prototypes that were never brought to market. We offer them at a lower price—the perfect solution for brides who are in a hurry or on a tighter budget.

Is it possible to try on items from the online store at the brand ambassadors' locations?

No, the items in the online store are available exclusively online.

The brand ambassadors only let customers try on custom-made dresses.

What are the delivery times?

Delivery times range from 48 hours to 4 weeks, depending on the item and availability.
