How does the fitting work?
In a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, you can choose your favorite wedding dresses from the collection. You can then mix and match different elements to create your ideal dress.
Choosing tops and bottoms : Play around with shapes, lengths, and volumes.
Personalized details : Choose between deep necklines or more classic styles, and select your favorite lace.
Matching Accessories : Complete your look with high-quality veils, jewelry, and lingerie.
You try them on, and we'll adjust them to your liking. You take pictures and show them off to your friends.

When should you start trying on clothes?
Ideally, you should start trying on wedding dresses about 12 months before the wedding, especially if you’d like to enjoy this experience with one of our ambassadors at .
We generally recommend ordering your dress between 8 and 12 months before the big day to secure your spot in our schedule and receive personalized assistance.
For brides in a hurry, we can expedite the creation upon request:
- 6 months before the wedding (+€100)
- 4 months before the wedding (minimum notice period; +€150)

Do we need to make an appointment?
Yes, you need to make an appointment for your fitting.
You can make a reservation directly from this page using the booking form.

Can I bring someone with me, and is it okay to take photos during the fitting?
You are welcome to bring up to three guests, so that your fitting remains a comfortable, intimate experience that is entirely yours.
Your ambassador at is dedicated to ensuring that you can share this experience with your loved ones in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
And of course, you can take photos to capture this special moment—often one of the most emotional parts of wedding planning.
How long does a fitting take, and is it possible to schedule a second one?
A fitting takes about 1 hour.
Your ambassador at ensures that every appointment is a special experience, entirely dedicated to you.
If you’re running late, please let her know: there are often several fittings scheduled throughout the day, and it’s not always possible to reschedule appointments.
The sizes available at vary by location, generally ranging from size 36 to 44.
If you wear a different size, please let us know when you make your appointment: some items, available up to size 48–50, can be shipped upon request.
Good to know:
After you place your order, we can schedule a second 45-minute appointment to take your measurements.
Starting with the third fitting, a €50 deposit will be required—which will be refunded if you purchase a custom-made dress.
What should I bring to the fitting?
To ensure that your fitting with your ambassador in goes smoothly, here are a few tips:
• Come wearing just a touch of makeup—no foundation or lipstick, but with your hair nicely styled. The goal is to enhance your features without risking stains on the dresses.
• Be sure to wear nude-colored panties and a strapless bra, depending on the style of dress you have in mind.
• Bring your wedding shoes, or at least the heel height you want, so you can get a clear idea of how your dress will drape.
These small details will make all the difference in ensuring a seamless, elegant, and inspiring fitting experience—just like the MADO experience.
Do you carry dresses in all sizes?
Our dresses are 100% custom-made and designed for all women! Please be sure to specify your size when you make an appointment so that we can prepare for your visit and offer you dresses up to size 46/48 during your fitting. Of course, we can tailor each dress to your body type.
What does a fitting actually involve?
Ambassador Mado welcomes you to her home or studio and makes you feel at ease so you can enjoy a moment that’s just right for you.
You can try on as many dresses from the collection as you like, mix and match tops and bottoms, experiment with different shoes, dance around, take photos of yourself, or try on a dress again—it’s entirely up to YOU!
Our Mado will help you choose between the different styles, based on your preferences, your body type, and what’s actually feasible.
The fitting takes 1 hour.
I need to try it on again. Is that possible?
Of course! You can schedule another appointment on the website, or contact the Mado who saw you directly to set a date. We completely understand that it can be hard to decide the first time around!
How do I order my dress?
All you have to do is visit our online store and add your dress and any optional extras (train length, additional embellishments, etc.) to your cart. As soon as we receive your payment, we’ll reserve your dress in our production schedule and begin making your wedding dress. The Mado who assisted you took your measurements and sent them to us so we can send your dress to production.
Where will my dress be delivered?
You will receive your wedding dress directly at your home, on average 2 months before your wedding date.
You can also choose to have it delivered to a different address for your convenience.

Can I have alterations done at a MADO store after making a purchase from a brand ambassador or online?
Custom-made purchases can be altered at Atelier Mado. We can recommend partner seamstresses in cities where we have ambassadors. We cover up to 10% of the dress’s price for alterations—please don’t hesitate to contact us! Please note: Madame a dit oui cannot be held responsible for any travel expenses incurred to adjust your dress until it fits perfectly.
